The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic brought a wave of challenges that deeply affected individuals and communities across the globe. Among the most significant were rising mental health concerns, with many people experiencing increased isolation, heightened anxiety, and a pervasive sense of uncertainty. These conditions led to elevated levels of stress and emotional distress, not only for individuals but also for their families. The situation underscored an urgent need for greater community support and stronger connections between people. Recognising that these psychological pressures could seriously hinder the healing process and affect the outcomes of medical treatments, it became clear that there was a pressing need for a dedicated channel where patients could openly express their fears and communicate their inner struggles. Establishing a circle of trust was seen as essential for fostering healing and positive change.

While traditional treatments focus on physical recovery, COSMOS shines a light on the emotional challenges patients face, acknowledging and addressing the often-unspoken struggles that accompany illness.
